My cabin is located where most of the country's wild rice is harvested. When my Aunt Sharon brought up this recipe at our reunion last weekend, I had to get the recipe! Sound's delish!
Wild Rice Fruit Salad
3 cups cooked and drained wild rice
1 16 oz can drained oranges
1 16 oz can pineapple chunks
1 cup grapes, cut in half
3 oz package of orange jello
Carton of Cool Whip
Mix rice and fruit. Sprinkle with jello and stir. Fold in carton of Cool Whip. Chill. Garnish with chopped pecans if desired. Can also add sliced strawberries and maraschino cherries.
